Recording sessions coming up...

As most of you know, Aksel's Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign to fund his album recording with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment finished with a successful result a couple of weeks ago. We raised about NOK 265.000 with the help of 186 backers - our warmest thanks to each and every one of you! We are looking forward to fulfil your rewards in due time, a lot of you have already received a concert video that we hope you enjoyed.

Thanks to very generous grant boards and private sponsors in addition to the Kickstarter backers, the project is now more or less fully funded according to budget. Fantastic! We have now been able to focus our whole attention to all the practical and artistic arrangements for the recording sessions in London, particularly our producer Sean Lewis have been working hard at this! In mid January, Aksel will sing with the orchestra in St. Augustine's, Kilburn, for almost a week. Hopefully, we will go home with some amazing raw material, and when Sean is done with all his editing, post-production, mastering magic etc. there will be an official album launch from Signum Classics, probably right after summer.

Again thanks to all of you that helped this unique recording project come to life - we hope that posting updates during the whole process will ease the waiting for the finished album.
