In mid January 2016, Aksel went to London to record his first solo album, with no other than the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
NRK Hovedscenen broadcast a 20 minute feature on Aksel's album recording with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
Arild Erikstad from NRK Hovedscenen visited the recording sessions and interviewed Aksel and all the other key people on the production.
Nigel Short, of the world class choir Tenebrae, conducted the recording in St. Augustine's.
